About this report
This large-scale UK survey of 3,023 young people aged 13–20 examines the prevalence, nature and impacts of bullying. Key findings include that 43% of respondents had been bullied, with appearance being the most commonly cited reason, and that bullying is strongly associated with negative outcomes including self-harm, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders and truancy. The report also explores perpetrator perspectives, witness experiences, and satisfaction with support services, and makes recommendations for schools, parents, government and young people.
