A survey of over 6,000 young people aged 11–25 from London and Essex explored their experiences of the COVID-19 lockdown and their hopes for the future. Key findings show that three-quarters missed school, over half were more worried about their mental health, and almost two-thirds were more concerned about future job prospects. Young people prioritised more training, work experience, mental health support, and volunteering opportunities as the things most likely to help them thrive post-pandemic.
