This large-scale survey of over 1,600 young Londoners aged 16–25 explored how Covid-19 and lockdown affected their lives across housing, employment, mental health, education, safety, discrimination, finances, and political engagement. Key findings reveal that housing, employment and mental health are the top priorities for young Londoners, that three-quarters rated the government's pandemic response as bad or very bad, and that a third of respondents showed wellbeing scores indicative of depression. The report highlights stark inequalities across ethnic, class and gender lines in areas including housing security, access to work experience, experiences of discrimination, and trust in the police.
