This London Youth report examines how member youth organisations across London contribute to strengthening local communities. Based on interviews with 10 youth professionals and 22 young people across London boroughs, it finds that youth organisations foster belonging, physical safety, cultural identity, and civic skills — and act as trusted hubs for the wider community. The report highlights concerns about funding cuts, youth centre closures, and unaffordable housing as threats to this community infrastructure.
